One of my favorite places in my current hometown, Lewisville, is Central Park.
I know there may be confusion, as the name of this park calls to mind a famous North Eastern park of the same name. I'll add that if you're from New York, you might find our version of the concept underwhelming. In any case, Lewisville's Central Park makes for an absolutely perfect location for playdates, picnic lunches, sports practices, and, of course, photo sessions! There's a walking path, two playgrounds, picnic tables, a large field, even a bridge and a creek (complete with turtles). It's one of my family's favorite places to be.
This mini-session with the Lambardia family took place in the mid-morning, when the sunlight was streaming through the trees on the eastern edge of the field. Not only was the weather and lighting perfect, but we even managed to coax some smiles out of the adorable little Isabella (who was very solemn about this whole ordeal).
